Black heels, sandals & booties are probably my favorite & possibly the best shoes to wear with sequin dresses. With a personal preference for black suede in a classic slinky pump, any black shoe will do. Try on sleek white boots outfits with a black dress. Or pumps or strappy stilettos if the occasion calls for it.
Meet in the middle between the two and get shoes with a tad bit heel. If you’re looking for something that complements your office wear, this is again your savior. It gives you a nice elevated look and spruces up the look for you.

Most high necklines don’t need a necklace but if you think you need a necklace try a simple strand of pearls or a diamond pendant necklace. If your dress has a low neckline or is strapless, drop or larger type earrings will look great and you can go with or without a necklace. With very fancy dress styles keep it simple and wear hoops, button or stud style earrings. Do a little experimenting to see which styles and colors flatter you best. When it comes to jewelry less is more elegant.
With a black dress and white shoes, you can have fun wtih purse colors. Opt for a brightly colored apple green, red, cobalt or bright yellow purse. Go for a tight mini sequin dress in black, pink or red. Choose a unique sequined pattern, a sequined dress with a bare back, a low V and high slit maxi dress, a minimalist bodycon dress, or a body hugging number with sexy cutouts. Over-the-knee & tall boots are a great boot type to wear in-between seasons, weather permitting. The higher up the leg they show, the less likely they are to be appropriate in a typical work dress environment unless they are so high they get lost in the dress. So if you want to keep a rock ‘n roll vibe, go for buckles & fringe ankle boots will give a boho-vibe. Try a beige, or metallic handbag, or always go for a classic – the black purse. You don’t need a daring neckline or a dramatic silhouette on top of the sequins. Instead, look for a dress that has a pretty ordinary neckline, hem, and so on. I would steer away from red if it is a very religious, conservative wedding. However, if it is not, red is one of my favourite shoe colors to wear with a black dress and would look great as part of a Fall wedding outfit. You know you'll need at least one sequin dress to hit the strip in style! Get a little wild by combining sequins with an animal print or go bold with a long sleeve and cold shoulder little number that we surely place the odds in your favor.
